This album is dedicated to my beautiful wife Aimee, my 3 wonderful children, my mom and dad, and my best friend Carl Algermissen.
2020 has certainly been a challenging year for America and for the entire world. The song “Remembering Tomorrow” is written in hopes that tomorrow will bring back peace, prosperity and health to America and to the World.
Alzheimer’s Disease robs individuals and their families of years and years of memories. Affected individuals may feel their families haven’t visited in years even when they were visited the day before. A good friend of mine who’s mother passed with Alzheimer’s told me he realized his role was to help her find “Moments of Joy.” This idea sparked “Faded Memory.” It starts of with a melancholy feel. The individual is hopeful that those they love will visit, but is very lonely. It is interspersed with “Moments of Joy.” I dedicate this song to all of those who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease and their families.
This song was inspired when I learned of the death of Dr. Lorna Breen, an Emergency Room physician who took her life due to the stressors of the initial COVID-19 surge in 2020. Thank you to all of our front line health care workers who have made unimaginable sacrifices to help us get through these trying times.
MILONGA EN LA PARA PIANO Y VIOLIN
